According to ESPN, Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is supposed to be spending the season 2020/21 on loaning with Everton.
The England international spent the 2018/2019 campaign on loan at Derby County, where he worked under manager Frank Lampard.
Last summer, when Lampard became the Blues head coach, the pair was reunited and Tomori impressed him during the first half of the previous season.
During the backend of the campaign, however, his game time with Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma, and Cesar Azpilicueta preferred the central defensive positions ahead of him.
With the arrival of the experienced Thiago Silva on a free transfer, the chances of playing time for Tomori have further decreased, and ESPN suggests that the Blues are likely to lend him to the Toffees.
During the 2018/19 season, the Merseyside outfit brought the best out of Zouma on loan and they’ll hope Tomori will make a similar impact to persuade Lampard to include him in his plans for the future.
